We are grateful to hear about this superstar, Waverly! Her mom, Amanda, says before they started speech therapy with TRE, “Waverly would only say a couple words, accompanied with some grunting and pointing. She was so frustrated; it was one temper tantrum after another because of her urge to communicate. Ten months later and her personality has blossomed. Waverly is not only having full conversations about her day and the things she has learned, but her sense of humor has also come out and she is absolutely hilarious.”
Amanda says, “I have learned a lot during our time with TRE. I’ve learned some sign language, tricks to help your child make a certain letter sound, and the power of positive incentives, all of which I will use to help my son too. I would say don’t walk, run to TRE! We decided to call because we wanted to help our daughter, and we wish we did it sooner.”
