Gage is all smiles and mom shared a wonderful story with us we’d like to share with you!
“When our son was not meeting the milestones like other kids his age, we were referred to TRE by our Pediatrician, but we didn’t think we would qualify for help from TRE and almost didn’t apply. [Today] there is no doubt in my mind that our son has caught up to his peers because of the resources and help we received from TRE.
We began with physical therapy to build his strength and coordination to learn to crawl and eventually walk and run. We added occupational therapy to address the sensory concerns we had. Finally, we began speech therapy until our son aged out of the program. TRE changed our approach to our son’s development and helped our whole family understand the way he processes things.
We went from concerned parents to enjoying the journey, even if it was a little slower than other children his age. We learned patience and to embrace the process. We were given many tools to help our son through his challenges and progress. Activities and help were geared specifically to our child’s needs. The most challenging part was having to say goodbye to therapists that became like family when our son aged out of the services.”
