Community Training Session: Working with Convicted Sex Offenders and Clients with Problematic Sexualized Behaviors

The following training is open to any and all who are interested in attending.

RSVPs must be made directly to Kayla Smith via email (ksmith@tre.org) or telephone (785-6416) with number of attendees and which training sessions they plan to attend. The deadline for RSVPs is one week before training you plan to attend. If capacity is reached prior to that deadline, we will let you know.

PLEASE NOTE: cancellation notice is requested 48 hours prior to date of training.

Designed for providers and administrative staff who work with the Sex Offender population or with clients who have problematic sexualized behaviors. Provides an overview of Colorado SOMB standards for the DD population, explanation of the system for SOMB treatment, explanation of supervision differences. Training will draw important distinctions between the two populations and focus on how providers can respectfully and appropriately serve clients who may be categorized in these ways.
