Artist Spotlight
One of our featured artists at our art show is Mark Cooney, who is pictured proudly displaying his book of poetry and artwork that he has created over the years. He is submitting a landscape painting to be featured in our Art Show.
Mark is 56 and has been through a 30-year journey of mental illness and continues to recover with the help of TRE’s services.
Client Appreciation Day
On Sunday, September 15 from 1:00-4:00 pm we plan to adorn 60 trees on our property with beautiful yarn decorations in celebration of our clients, their families, and the entire community.
We proudly honor those with disabilities who inspire us daily with their resilience and creativity. Through yarnbombing, we weave together a tapestry of support, connecting clients, supporters, and partner agencies. Each stitch represents unity, acceptance, and the joy of creating something beautiful together. Join us as we wrap our trees in love, laughter, and inclusivity, celebrating the diverse threads that make our community strong.
Get Involved:
- Spread the word: Tell your friends, family, and community about our project
- Join the Fun: Volunteer or help us yarn bomb the trees
- Adopt a Tree!
Sponsor a Leaf
To mark this special occasion, we are launching a commemorative 60th Anniversary, “Pathway to Gratitude” art piece that will honor and celebrate the last 60 years while launching us into the next 60. This art piece will serve as a permanent showcase of our incredible community support and kick off TRE’s Capital Campaign to ensure TRE is around for the next 60 years.
By sponsoring a leaf, you will publicly demonstrate your investment in TRE’s mission which will be displayed in our lobby for all to see when they visit TRE’s building.
