Transportation

The Resource Exchange is a recipient of funds from the Pikes Peak Rural Transit Authority (PPRTA), and partners with the RTA to ensure transportation is provided to citizens with developmental disabilities in our communities within the RTA. We are pleased to offer the PPRTA Annual Report for your review, which provides details about the many projects and uses of the tax funds collected by the Authority.

General Principles
The Resource Exchange (TRE) supports the planning and implementation of an integrated community based transit system which is safe, affordable and encourages the independence of it’s users.

Eligibility
TRE transportation serves people with developmental disabilities who are under the state Department of Human Services, Division for Developmental Disabilities, Supported Living and Comprehensive Services programs. Transportation services may be restricted due to funding constraints and will be considered based on service user's needs, travel distances and historical circumstances. Persons living within the city public fixed or para-transit bus routes are expected to access these systems. The TRE Community Coordinator coordinates all transportation services for service users.
